As we enter spring, knowing that one of the most celebrated times of the year for the Christian Church is Easter.  It is the Main Event or the Super Bowl Game for the Christian Church.  It is a time that we put everything in overdrive to make sure that we share the good news that Jesus is risen with as many people as possible.

All of our festivities at Empire, during the Resurrection Weekend, points to the resurrection of Christ.   The blood of Jesus will never lose its power!  Jesus not only was born, not only lived a great life, not only died in our place, but also by His resurrection is victorious!

Our celebration does not stop on Easter Sunday.  The following Sunday Morning, April 27^th, I will begin a new preaching series titled, “God is Not Dead”.  We will continue to celebrate healings, miracles, and deliverances in our church services; as we enjoy the springtime of the year.

The church family here at Empire is much more than just here in this community.   It reaches across the ocean to our extended church family in Romania as we purposely work to help them build a church in the fall of 2014.  It reaches into the West Georgia area as we serve our campus church in LaGrange, Georgia.  Our church family reaches into the local prison to share the gospel of the good news of Jesus Christ as well as a number of other outreaches.

When I look at the family tree of the Empire P. H. Church I see the church as a tree with many branches reaching in a lot of different directions, but all which are pointing up.  I encourage you to join us for a time of worship or partner with us in one or more of the many ministry opportunities that God has given us to share the good news about Jesus.  It is our goal not to burden our congregation with ministry but to offer opportunity for them to be a blessing.
